“K-Kikyo?” he said in sort of a stutter, walking up closer to her, “Is that really you?” It had been a while for him that he had actually seen a friendly face, and to him this made him a little suprised and kind of happy.
- She turned her body fully to face him when she heard Bankotsu’s confused and surprised stutter. She wasn’t expecting to see him here, out of the blue, but when did she ever? In a flash, her mind remembered vividly the events of their last encounter and she immediately drew herself back. She found it quite difficult to meet his eyes. She was in a pleasant mood today, having gotten some peace after a long while. Kikyo took another step forward until one of her soul collectors nudged against the side of her ankle, pointing its nose behind her as if to show she wasn’t alone. She stiffened. A demon, perhaps? She didn’t want to deal with that. Glancing half way, she silently waited for her visitor.-

Bankotsu sat in the middle of his favorite field, watching the clouds go by; he was completely bored out of his mind. He wanted to cause some mischief in one of the towns nearby but he knew if he did the village people would bitch and complain and then he would have to see his least favorite person, and he didn’t really want to deal with that today.
As he continued to look up he noticed soul collectors fly across the sky. This made him curious as he slowly got up, and in grabbing banryu and throwing it over his shoulders he decided to follow them.
